The Upper Limb Library/ Deciding Where to Receive Prosthetic Care

We send out our FIT survey to our patients every three months. It’s a short questionnaire that comes via email and takes about two minutes to complete.

We follow up with our patients at the one-month mark, three-month mark, the six-month mark, at the one-year mark and then every year after that.

The men featured in this article were electrically shocked and ended up losing one or both of their upper limbs. They are now successful prostheses users.

At Arm Dynamics, our prosthesis fittings typically take four or five days - sometimes as short at one day, depending on the limb difference level.

Our clinical team works with the patient to get them fit with their device, and our Justification, Authorization and Billing team works just as hard.

Sometimes our patients come to us after they’ve worked with another provider. From their feedback, we have learned why they prefer our care.

It's important to stand up for yourself during the whole process of getting your prosthesis. But we're here to help!

Our care process specifically requires each patient to come in for an in-person evaluation and fitting to give you the best fit and usage skills.
